It's Sequel Time!

The Psycho Chihuahua clearly doesn't believe in the concept of Saturday Morning Lie Ins. So she began barking at 7am. I finally gave up at 8.15am. Got up, did my exercises, showered and went downstairs to the manic jumps, leaps, leg scrapes and massive love-fest that greeting her normally involves.

A cup of strong Lavazza coffee and two baby croissants later, the PC was now ensconced in her comfy throne on top of a couch watching the world go by and I did it. I opened the laptop. Turned it on even! It was a classic Blank Page moment.

The prologue was easy. It wrote itself several months ago during the time of the long march through the Desert known as Writer's Block. So that just popped onto the page. A wee bit of editing and sentence management and we were into Chapter One. A thousand words later I had created a very messy lump of prose which I will no doubt come back to later on shaking my head and wondering what I was thinking of. But hey! It's a start and that's what matters.
