So I just finished writing my first novel recently - 160,000 words. I've been rewriting it since and we're now down to 150,000 words. Then I go lifting a manhole cover in my back garden and damage my back and hip. Stuck on the flat of my back. It's too difficult to focus on editing and rewriting with the pain. I'm not being noble here, it's just that the drugs aren't really working. I screwed up.

What do I do? I make the fatal error of reading John Grisham's latest novel "Camino Winds". Now I'm so depressed it's not funny. It's such an easy read. Such a good, well told story that I can see myself editing and re-editing, writing and re-writing for months more. I mean, it took me 5 years just to finish this first draft!

Title Time?

Trying to decide what to call my new baby. I'm currently vacillating between DANCE WITH THE DEVIL or THE DEVIL'S GRUDGE. Anyone got any suggestions or perhaps you might like to vote on it?
